AWS Cloud Operations Engineer

Youll closely collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in Office 365, Azure, or AWS to design, define, develop, and test cloud solution components. Youll have the chance to work within a DevOps framework to build and manage container apps and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission. With access to our internal Azure, AWS, and GCP labs, youll have the space and time to explore different ways of solving our client's challenges, and youll partner with stakeholders and your team to deliver the right technical solutions. You Have

5+ years of experience with designing, implementing, deploying, and testing in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Experience managing networking within AWS, including IAM Roles and Policies, security groups, NACLs, and VPC Experience in working with containerization, including orchestration, cluster management, and container storage, including ECS or Kubernetes Experience working with Oracle and PostgreSQL Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Gitlab, and DevSecOps practices Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform Knowledge of programming languages, including Python, YML, and Shell Scripting Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements Bachelor's degree in CS or IT

Experience facilitating connectivity between various cloud components and an On-Prem system with firewall Rules Requests, Security Group Rules, VPC Endpoints, Subnets Experience in applying a security-first approach to all cloud development, minimizing risk while providing cloud technology solutions to meet company, program, and customer compliance needs. Ability to manage highly scalable and secured architectures, and developing applications optimized for cloud environments following AWS best practices and NIST800-53 guidelines Ability to deploy and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes and infrastructure AWS Solution Architect or DevOps Engineer Professional certification AWS Security or Advanced Networking Specialty certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individuals particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allens total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
