Our client, a well-established construction firm, is growing its clientele and has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join their team of professionals. The focus is on estimating interiors, walls, trim, custom millwork, etc. They specialize in Specialty Ceilings, Plaster and Gypsum Board, Acoustic Treatment, Flooring, Painting and Coatings, Wall Finishes, and Tile. They will not be involved in electrical or mechanical work.
Qualifications:
3+ years' experience in construction estimating for a General Contractor or in Carpentry
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Applied Science, Civil Engineering, or related field
Able to read architectural plans and develop cost estimates
Strong understanding of commercial construction processes
Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
Experience with Estimator Software
Able to multitask and meet strict deadlines
Impeccable problem-solving skills
The ideal candidate will have previous estimating experience in general construction or carpentry, be organized, motivated, detail-oriented, and driven. Review and evaluate cost estimates
Communicate with trade partners and team members regarding new and current projects

Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors
