*Employment Type:*
* Full time, day shift

*What you will do:*
* The Vascular Technologist performs all vascular/interventional diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with departmental standards.
* Operates and adjusts imaging equipment, selects accurate post processing techniques in order to optimize vascular/interventional images.
* Obtains and records a complete clinical history pertinent to the examination. Explains procedures to each patient, positions patient and equipment appropriately.
* Evaluates requests for appropriateness, refers concerns to coordinator and/or Radiologist.
* Compresses and evaluates arterial and venous puncture sites.
* Assists in the instruction of student technologists and new personnel.
* Maintains aseptic technique during procedures and scrub with physician.

*What you will need:*
* Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology (or equivalent hospital-based certificate program); Advanced certification in Cardiovascular/Interventional Technology preferred
* 1-3 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist
* License from New York State Education Department to practice in Radiologic Technology
* Ability to access and interpret lab values and patient monitoring equipment
* Knowledge of inventories available and their applications (catheters, guidewires and stents)

*Compensation:*
* *Pay Range:* $31.50 - $45.70 per hour
* Shift Differential
* Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
