Our client is seeking a Production Manager to join their team and manage their manufacturing and warehouse functions. In this role, you will work closely with your team to ensure that the daily operations meet customer expectations and achieve goals for innovative designs in the manufacturing of reusable transit containers. You will also coach and develop your associates to help them reach their full potential and drive organizational improvements. The ideal candidate is experienced in manufacturing settings, has strong leadership skills, and role models the company culture.

Key Results Area
Drive continuous improvement culture to achieve performance excellence
Supervise brand cases to be produced and shipped without compromising quality
Lead regular KPI reviews for the manufacturing team, ensuring the attainment of results and a sense of urgency for the strategic priorities
Ensure key manufacturing metrics and critical performance indicator systems are consistently tracking the appropriate measures and driving appropriate response behaviors
Periodically present plans and actual results, as well as strategy deployment and KPI progress
Ensure effective allocation of resources across all areas of the operation to accomplish company-driven priorities
Monitor and communicate performance metrics (productivity, quality, financial, etc.) to production personnel across multiple manufacturing lines
Perform human resource tasks such as recruiting, interviewing, hiring, performance management, training and development, recognition, time management, and corrective action.
Monitor manufacturing area supplies and equipment; initiate purchasing requests as needed
Partner with Management to ensure the best possible product and customer satisfaction
Assures that customer orders are picked and shipped timely, accurately
Controls inventory accuracy of ingredients, product, material and supplies by participating in monthly physical inventories / cycle count program and maintaining/documenting inventory records. Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and helps adjust errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies
Play an active and significant role in the S&OP process
Continually benchmark best practices and implement them as appropriate
Skills & Qualifications
At least five years of experience as a manager in a warehouse/production setting
Heavy manifest experience
CNC machinery knowledge
Lean Six Sigma training and applied knowledge in the warehouse is ideal
Resourceful, combining strong manufacturing and technical abilities with overall management acumen
Ability to effectively deploy resources to key priorities
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels of the organization
Bachelors degree in a related field preferred
Dynamics or Sage software experience preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
