Assistant Sales Manager

Description of the role:The Assistant Sales Manager at McNeill Chevrolet is responsible for supporting the Sales Manager in all aspects of the sales department. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to achieve sales targets. Candidates must have experience in a dealership and knowledge in F&I and BDC. Applicants without these experiences will not be considered. Responsibilities:Assist Sales Manager in overseeing daily operations of the sales departmentManage and track internet activity, leads and sources.Manage finance compliance and funding issues.Back-up the sales manager for working deals, closing and managing staff.Digital marketing and website experience a plus.Manage and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targetsProvide exceptional customer service to build and maintain customer relationshipsAssist customers in selecting and purchasing vehiclesEnsure the dealership meets high standards in sales processes and customer satisfactionCollaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement sales strategiesKeep updated on industry trends and competitors' offeringsRequirements:Previous experience in automotive salesExperience at finance manager or backup Experience in BDC department or internet salesMust be able to work Saturdays and until 6:00pm 3-4 nights per week.Strong leadership and management skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsProven track record in achieving sales targetsKnowledge of automotive industry and productsAbility to work in a fast-paced and competitive environmentValid driver's licenseBenefits:Competitive salary ranging from $60000 to $75000 per yearSalary plus bonus based on performance and hitting department goalsNo late nights and day off during week if working SaturdayHealthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) retirement savings planPaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for career growth and advancementAbout the Company:McNeill Chevrolet is a reputable automotive dealership located in Swanton, Ohio.
