About the Role:
The Sr. Data & Reporting Analyst sits on the Finance team and will partner with the Program and Commercial business teams to ensure that the reporting & analytics that supports their business is completed accurately, on schedule, and highlights actionable insights. You will be a key business partner and driving factor in communicating actionable insights that help drive optimal business outcomes.
What you will do:
Provide financial guidance to support decision-making in segment performance analysis: strategic programs, product lines, sales channels and regional activities.
Lead short term cash-flow projections, scenario planning and capital management.
Utilize big data querying techniques, while structuring and pulling data from various sources.
Data extraction, monitoring, documentation, reporting, visualization, dashboarding, financial modeling and analytics.
Reports and dashboards for handling very high-volume data.
Foster a collaborative team culture focused on accountability and excellence.
Educate the team about leading practices and technologies while being curious and constantly learning the right technologies for our future.
Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful execution of data initiatives.
We are Seeking People Who:
5 to 7 years of experience in data analysis and visualization using Power BI or similar tools.
Strong analytical background and experience in extracting insights and operating with large data sets to identify trends and actionable takeaways.
Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy, but also able to connect the high-level strategy and objectives to the more granular details.
Passionate about data, reporting, analysis, and driving data driven decisions.
Results driven with a high level of intellectual curiosity.
Strong experience working with large and complex data sets from multiple sources.
Strong business acumen and ability to anticipate and deliver on stakeholder needs.
Trusted business partner who can make complex topics simple for others.
Great written and verbal communicator.
Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Statistics or related field.
Tools - Experience with ERP (NetSuite a plus) and management reporting tools
Tools - Expertise with SQL and Excel are required.
Proficiency with data analysis and BI tools (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
