Our IT Department is seeking to add a Senior Business Analyst to their department. The individual in this role will be responsible for evaluating business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions. This position will work closely with stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to understand the business needs and translate them into actionable requirements.

*This is a hybrid role located in Omaha, NE*

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Elicit and document business requirements from stakeholders through interviews, workshops and document analysis.
  • Analyze and prioritize requirements, and translate them into functional specifications and user stories.
  • Develop process documentation and workflow charts for improved understanding and efficiency.
  • Identify and capitalize on improvement opportunities, identify innovative ways to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Collect, interpret, and analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Assist in integration design process and provide detailed documentation and requirements as appropriate
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
  • Develop and execute test cases to validate that solutions meet business requirements.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned and required
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelors degree in, Business Administration, Computer Science and/or Related Fields
  • 5+ years experience working on large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests
  • 5+ years experience in information technology
  • Proven training in Business Process Modeling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and team members.
