Position Summary This individual will gain valuable exposure to corporate finance by developing monthly sales and operating forecasts as well as annual budgets. Through their efforts at providing in depth analysis of management reports and comparing actual results to forecasts, budgets, and prior years, this person will assist in identifying and communicating accurate business conditions that will drive decision-making across the company. This position reports to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager. Primary Roles and Responsibilities Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports; investigate, explain and resolve variances. Participate in the annual budgeting process, including meeting with members of management from across the company to review and adjust based on future plans. Support the long-term strategic planning process by developing financial models to validate assumptions and estimate potential impacts. Load and maintain data from multiple sources in our multidimensional database: Oracle Hyperion Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) Assist in the Company’s implementation of OneStream as its new consolidation system, become a system administrator to drive OneStream’s usage company-wide and to maintain and grow the application’s capabilities. Some participation in monthly G/L closing -- prepare journal entries as required. Assist with the due diligence and integration processes for mergers and acquisitions. Assist with lender, private equity, audit, and regulatory reporting requirements. Assist with ad-hoc questions and reporting as needed. Provide recommendations on process improvements. Requirements Experience and Education BS in Finance or Accounting 1+ years of experience, FP&A experience preferred. MBA and CPA are a plus. Working knowledge and understanding of GAAP A focus on continuous improvement and process excellence Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus. Knowledge of OneStream and Oracle Hyperion Planning or another multi-dimensional database a plus Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with commitment to high-quality work products Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel including pivot tables, v-lookups, etc. Ability to maintain confidential information. Ability to meet tight deadlines effectively and efficiently. Strong written and verbal communication skills A curious disposition that drives you to question the status quo.
