Overview:

Big Sky Resort is looking for a guest oriented independent Rental Tech. As a Rental Technician, you'll be the first step to transformational experiences for our guests. Help them find the perfect ski or snowboard setup and ensure they're ready to conquer the slopes. Limited experience with ski and snowboard gear is helpful, however, we are here to teach you everything you need to know. Join our team and be part of guiding our guests to enriching mountain memories.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized boot fitting, binding setting, and support for all abilities. Must be able to listen to needs and respond accordingly. Every guest will have specific requirements.
  • Must kneel and stand repeatedly while boot fitting and assisting guests with equipment.
  • Encourage a positive atmosphere in the rental shop for guests and employees alike. Welcome everyone with a smile
  • Answer phone calls and email questions regarding rentals, online purchases, and the resort and surrounding area.
  • Accurately charge and take payment from guests and employees for rental equipment.
Qualifications:
  • Entry level position with limited previous experience required. Learn new skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ski/snowboard and/or cashier experience preferred
