Research laws and regulations regarding tax and payroll withholding procedures. Maintain current knowledge of tax laws affecting company/employees. Research and resolve all tax concerns as assigned. Respond and resolve assigned employee payroll tax concerns. Maintained tax rates and/or deposit frequency changes into payroll system, and resolution of discrepancy notices issued by tax authorities. Apply for new state and local tax accounts with the applicable agency. Setup new state and local taxing jurisdictions in the payroll system and with our third party vendor. Assist with payroll tax projects and processes Run established queries and reports. Assist Payroll Tax Team Perform other duties as assigned. 3.0 Scope and Accountabilities Ensure all deliverables are on time and accurate.
