Job Description SummaryJob DescriptionBasic QualificationsHigh School Education or GED equivalency1 year Machine Shop Operations experienceEligibility Requirements:Ability and willingness to use basic hand tools and measuring devices (i.e. - dial calipers, rulers, tape measures, protractors, micrometers, gauges, etc.) as required within department.Basic understanding of blueprint and process sheet interpretationPrior working knowledge of machine shop operationsEssential Functions & Responsibilities:Operate CNC equipmentOperate any type and size of single spindle or multiple spindle on a variety of operations (drilling, reaming, boring, tapping, spot facing, countersinking, etc)Use all tools, jigs, fixtures, and gages necessary to perform operationsWork with close tolerances and fine finishesPerform tool offset and load partsPerform job responsibilities according to internal process specifications and third-party requirementsUtilize proper PPE, safety equipment, and follow safety proceduresParticipate in team initiatives.Receive guidance from experienced employeesDesired Qualifications:1-3 years machine shop experience in a manufacturing environmentEducation and/or training in machine shop operationsExperience in a self-directed team environmentLean manufacturing knowledgeThe pay for this position is $20.60/hour. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.
