Hours will be Monday - Friday 8 AM to 5 PM. It is fully onsite in Indianapolis. Pay rate will be dependent on experience and be from $28.16 to $32.44.

About the Role: As a Document Specialist, you will play a crucial role in rewriting, clarifying, and reconstructing training documents throughout the review cycle. You’ll be responsible for creating and editing a variety of technical and sales training publications, including training guides, quick reference materials, operator notebooks, and checklists. Your work will ensure that all documentation adheres to regulatory compliance and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop instructor-led training content, job aids, and technical guides that resonate with our audience.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with content originators, stakeholders, and approvers to ensure alignment and clarity in training documentation.
  • Process Management: Monitor document workflows to ensure timely approvals and facilitate periodic reviews for accuracy and compliance.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize your skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Acrobat Pro, Photoshop) and other tools to design and layout engaging materials.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with project managers, trainers, and subject matter experts to support training development projects tied to product launches.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education: A BS/BA in a technical/scientific field, technical writing, English, or a related area.
  • Experience: Proven ability to create and modify content, with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with brand standards and quality system regulations, along with experience in document management systems like Veeva Vault.
  • Project Management: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of adult learning theory and training practices.
  • Previous experience in copy editing and document design/layout.
