Custodian- Evening Shift

Custodian Job Duties include:
- Perform assigned janitorial duties (e.g., sweeping, mopping and vacuuming, trash removal) of various facility areas, according to schedule
- Clean restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
- Complete laundry tasks as required
- Make campus rounds and respond to incidents as needed to ensure resident and staff security
- Note maintenance issues and complete work orders as needed.
- Perform campus rounds according to schedule
- Secure community building in the evening
- Assist with snow removal and de-ice as needed
- Perform other environmental services duties as needed/assigned by supervisor
- Transport residents to and from the hospital as directed by Health Services (using Foxdale Village vehicle).
- Maintain punctuality and regular, predictable attendance in order to meet the nightly custodial and security needs of the facility.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or its equivalent is required.
Experience: Minimum of one-year of related experience is preferred.
Language: Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
Math: Must be able to complete tasks using basic mathematical skills.
Licenses/Certifications: Must possess a valid PA Driver's License.
Physical Requirements of the Position:
Specific physical characteristics and abilities are required to perform the work, such as agility, dexterity and long periods of walking, standing, bending, carrying or lifting supplies and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds (with assistance when needed). This position requires the completion of mostly non-sedentary work.
