Description

AnnieMac Home Mortgage is looking to hire a Human Resources Coordinatortoprovide administrative support to the Human Resources Department and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires. This position provides assistance in special projects and planning for the development of the Human Resources functions.Under the direct supervision of the Employee Engagement Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
  • Primary onboarding contact for employees and managers for the HR department.
  • Coordinate the on-boarding process including offer letters and employment agreements.
  • Remain a constructive resource to new hires.
  • Coordinate the applicant tracking system; assist with job postings.
  • Process background screenings.
  • Corresponds with management to support their hiring needs; walk Hiring Managers and new hires through the new hire process.
  • Assists applicants through the on-line application process as needed.
  • Ensure all new hire documentation is collected, reviewed for accuracy, and processed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files/records, binders and all other areas of clerical functions within the HR department.
  • Ensure all locations are in compliance with the mandatory federal, state and local employment law posters, including ordering and distribution.
  • Process new hires, as well as status changes and employment agreement changes for current employees.
  • Works closely with IT Support and hiring manager to ensure equipment is ordered and sent to new hire prior to start date.
  • Maintain I-9 files and conduct frequent audits to ensure compliance.
  • Assist with the annual Benefits Open Enrollment.
  • Respond to employee requests and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Complete reports as needed.
  • Complete and maintain job descriptions.
  • Promote a welcoming environment and a culture of support.
  • All other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education, training and office experience.
  • Able to maintain extreme discretion and confidentiality at all times in performance of position's duties and responsibilities.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in process and quickly learn new skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and be highly organized.
  • Detail oriented, extremely accurate, able to follow up on long-term, ongoing projects and meet all deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to successfully function in a fast paced and diversified environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.


Work Environment/Physical Demands: Will have to spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers, which can cause muscle strain.
