Job Description

Summary:

The Asphalt/Pave Box Operator will have at least 3-5 years experience. The Asphalt/Pave Box Operator will perform duties at parking lots by operating one or several types of equipment. The Asphalt/Pave Box Operator will communicate daily the project status with key stakeholders in the project. In addition, the Asphalt/Pave Box Operator will ensure that all materials are installed per specifications for the project and all work is completed with Rose Paving standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Proficient Pave Box Operator
  • Must be adept on Auger speeds, feed controls, flow gates, etc.
  • Skilled in automatic grade and slope controls, crown position, vibratory controls, extensions and cut off shoes
  • Setting passes
  • Determining yields
  • Trucking schedules
  • Pace setting efficiencies
  • Proper drainage and aesthetics evaluations
  • Monitor the mat and yield daily
  • Must be versatile and able to control team operation
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); a minimum of 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have broad understanding of Rose Paving's business and proven abilities in the areas of preparation and installation of Asphalt.
