SBM Management is searching for a Floor Technician that can make the floors sparkle and shine. We are hiring a Floor Technician that has experience ensuring customers have clean and orderly commercial or office space. Professional communication with the customers to make sure their expectations are met is essential. Responsibilities Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures. Stop at risk behaviors in others and self Work with other employees in a team to complete assignments Perform repetitive tasks Maintain clean work area Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules Take direction and respond to supervision Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner Fill in during staff shortages, such as in custodial, recycle, or maintenance Support shift lead in completing punch-list items Use proper personal protective equipment that is required for assigned tasks Present a professional appearance and conduct Understand customer service and satisfaction. Understand reporting systems, and of the environment Operate motorized cleaning equipment Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area Perform cleaning and maintenance of all floors: tile, carpet, and brick flooring Complete work assignments in a timely manner Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure Use and maintain equipment properly Operate and maintain all equipment correctly and safely Always observe safety precautions, using safety signs "wet floor" Ability to work without normal supervision Report safety hazards as appropriate Qualifications Experience in the janitorial industry required, with floor/carpet care expertise preferred A drug test will be required 3 years of experience preferred Must pass SBM Background checks, along with Pre employment Drug screening & E-Verify. Floor Care experience and using machinery Driver's License Required, General Knowledge of Care Floor and Scrubbing Techniques Compensation: $15.50 - 16.00 Shift: 2nd Shift SBM Management Services, LP and its affiliates are proud to be equal opportunity workplaces.
