**Job Overview:**
As the Finance Manager at Vallejo Nissan, you will play a crucial role in the dealership's success by overseeing all aspects of the finance and insurance department. You will be responsible for maximizing profitability through effective management of financial processes, while also ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage the finance and insurance department to achieve sales and profitability targets.
- Oversee the financing process for vehicle purchases, including securing financing options for customers, reviewing credit applications, and negotiating terms with lending institutions.
- Provide guidance and support to sales team members on financing options and programs available to customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with lending institutions, ensuring competitive financing options are available to customers.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing automotive finance and insurance activities.
- Review and finalize all finance and insurance documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Effectively communicate financing options, terms, and conditions to customers, answering any questions or concerns they may have.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to automotive finance and insurance.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in automotive finance and insurance in a dealership setting.
- Strong understanding of finance and insurance products, including vehicle financing, extended warranties, and insurance offerings.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with finance and insurance software systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
