Some technical requirements for this position are:High School Diploma or GEDActive and unencumbered Medical Assistant Certification or Registration through an accredited agency (CCMA, RMA, CMA, etc.).Bilingual in English/Spanish requiredPrevious experience as a Medical Assistant preferred, but we are willing to train new Medical AssistantsAbility to successfully pass a background check in relation to the position applied forDay to Day:Prepare patients for examination and treatment.Take patient histories and vital signs.Document information accurately using appropriate forms and charting format in health care information record.Perform intake procedures and assist providers with patients.Maintain patient confidentiality.Assist with patient follow-up activities, including referrals, recall and other patient needs.Work closely with other team members and support the clinic with other needs as identified by the supervisor.
