As the Packing Compliance Specialist in our Packing/Assembly Department, you will work with Production Control to make sure Nordic Ware parts are set up and maintained accurately in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. You will help department management ensure packaging and assembly procedures are followed and work closely with the teams on the Packing floor, as well as Compliance and Production Control.

Here is some of what you will get to do:

Assist Compliance department and other members of management with customer audits and inspections including moving parts to the inspection area and providing general support as required.

Build Packing templates in the ERP to provide Packing Technicians with clear instructions for assembly and packaging.

Create pallet renderings for customer approval on Nordic Ware pallet programs.

Define weights and dimensions of new parts for Bill of Materials team.

Assist Production Control in gathering necessary data for part approvals.

Utilize software to create price tickets for parts.

Assist Compliance and Management with all required inspections.

Provide standard and non-standard part mockups and samples for Sales and/or Compliance.

Manage all label requirements together with Production Control including RFID and any unspecified customer requirements.

Assist Production Control with part revision management to ensure all parts are produced with the correct revision as entered in the ERP.

Participate in the department's continuous improvement and 5S efforts.

Manage and provide project support as requested by department management.

Perform other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring to the role:

Associate's degree or some college preferred.

1+ years of work experience in manufacturing, packing, shipping, compliance, production control, or general supply chain.

Good computer skills including a proficiency in Microsoft Office and in an ERP system (Epicor preferred)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with interdepartmental teams, customers, and auditors.

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Results-oriented; the desire and ability to commit to goals and deliver results.

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
