JOB DESCRIPTION

Department: Orthopedics Unit

Shift Timings: 19:00-07:30 Hours Monday to Friday (3 Days/12 Hours Shift)

Per Week: 36 Hours

BLS, NIH; EOW; EOH; 1 year of med/surg experience needed, EPIC is charting system; may need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles, if needed.

Roles & Responsibilities
•Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
•Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
•Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
•Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

QUALIFICATIONS
•BLS and ACLS
•National Institutes of Health (NIH)
•Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
•The ability to stand for extended periods.
•Strong technical skills.
•Knowledge of medical terminology
•Passionate about patient care
•Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Orthopedics Med/Surg experience.
•Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
•Active unencumbered Wisconsin RN state license
•One year of Cerner FirstNet experience

Requirements
•COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.

  • Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
