Job DescriptionThe Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC) has a 25-year track record of improving care for people with serious illness by accelerating growth in access to specialty palliative care, and by training clinicians from all specialties and disciplines in core palliative care skills.The Director of Clinical Education role is critical to CAPC's ability to fulfill our mission, and to the health of CAPC's membership model. Responsible for overseeing development and maintenance of CAPC's large portfolio of clinical education materials, the Director will ensure highest-quality content, user-friendly virtual education, and effective nationwide dissemination. Since launching in 2015, CAPC's online, self-study curriculum has been used by nearly 150,000 health professionals across the US to strengthen their skills providing person-centered care to patients with serious illness. In recent years, CAPC has expanded it portfolio to include online interactive clinical education games, clinical job aides, virtual workshops, and other teaching modalities. We aim to increase both the number of clinicians we train in core palliative care skills, and the depth of our engagement with these clinicians over time.
