Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage all plant safety activities to ensure a safe working environment. Administer and monitor comprehensive safety training programs for plant employees. Oversee accident reporting and investigation processes, ensuring thorough documentation and follow-up. Serve as the primary administrator for the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) system. Act as the Environmental Management System (EMS) representative for ISO 14001 compliance. Collaborate with HR and management to manage workers' compensation issues and ensure proper reporting. Conduct hazardous assessments for existing and new equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Lead and coordinate all safety audits, and manage first-aid supplies. Work closely with plant management and corporate teams to maintain a robust and effective safety program. Oversee the company safety program, including conducting orientation training for new hires. Maintain and update record-keeping systems to track and evaluate safety compliance. Prepare and submit monthly safety reports to plant and corporate systems. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the plant's safety objectives. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field OR 5 years of safety experience in a manufacturing environment Minimum of 2 years' of safety experience in a manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with OSHA and MIOSHA regulations. Familiarity with ISO 14001 standards and compliance requirements. Experience with MSDS management systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
