Position: Sr IT Security Engineer
Location: Boca Raton, FL
Salary Range: $115-135k (Based off experience)

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelors degree in MIS or Computer Science and/or MCSE, CCNE, CCNP, CCSP, CISSP is preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a high degree of integrity and discretion and the ability to multi-task.
- A minimum of 10+ years technical experience providing network and security services in support of a medium to large multi-location organization.
- Current technical expertise in the development and implementation of local and wide area network systems, desktop operations, and related communications infrastructure.
- Strong MS Windows AD experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of deploying, configuring, architecting networking technologies is required.
- Experience with Fortinet, Juniper, Cisco, MikroTik network devices is required.
- Experience working with a VSOC solution provider day to day to manage the environment and relationship.
- Experience with SIEM technologies is preferred.
- Experience with various advanced threat protection technologies is preferred.
- Experience with patching servers, switches, routers, and firewalls is preferred.
- Experience with hardware and software VPNs and connectivity is preferred.
- Strong TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, VPN and SNMP knowledge is required.
- Knowledge of network security, i.e., firewalls, network intrusion prevention, vulnerability testing, authentication, and encryption.
- Knowledge of Cisco, Active Directory, Fortinet, Firemon, SolarWinds, and other network monitoring solutions.
- Working knowledge of Splunk, Kali Linux, Varonis, Arctic Wolf, and other security technologies is preferred.
Day to Day:
The Senior Information Technology (IT) Security Engineer mostly focuses on but is not limited to protecting the organizations computers, networks, and data against threats, such as malware, ransomware, brute force, and other attacks by cyber-criminals for our Connectivity Solutions and Edge networks. The Sr. IT Information Security Engineer must have a strong background in networking (including DAS & Small Cells, Public Safety, Open Access Networks, Operational Technology (OT) Networks, managed Wi-Fi, and Private Networks) and information security with a clear understanding of the challenges of network security.
