Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties

Overall responsibility is to ensure that TUSA sales and EBITDA goals and objectives are attained by driving the creation of strategic, market-specific marketing plans. This role will also partner with Operations teams to develop and execute local business plans for focus markets. This position is a thought partner for Team USA leadership, leading requested analytics, development, and communication of marketing plans to help Team USA double their business by 2030.

50% Performance Insights & Consultation
  • Partner with A&I to provide period sales analysis for TUSA to provide perspective on performance and recommendations on how to drive sales in pre-determined focus markets.
  • Recommend local spend and market-level marketing plans that encompass various media channels
  • Leverage analysis and insights to drive sales-building recommendations
  • Monitor plan results throughout the year and recommend changes as necessary
  • Oversee DCO-area marketing spend and ensure budgets are maintained appropriately
  • Oversee the management of miscellaneous marketing budget and allocate funds for LSM, campus, hotel materials, etc.
  • Manage pricing and coupon recommendation strategies
  • Collaborate with Franchise Field Marketing Manager to ensure alignment between DMA and TUSA opportunities, this may include attending regional field meetings such as business planning meetings.
35%: Develop, Manage and Lead TUSA Marketing Coordinators
  • Lead team on successful development, execution and communication of market and store-level business plans.
  • Assist in the development of a comprehensive onboarding plan to ensure new TMs are on boarded successfully
  • Lead TM onboarding and training and cover open positions as necessary
  • Provide career and development coaching
  • Provide on-going training by recommending formal training classes and "on the job" development.
  • Ensure all activities are completed on time, on strategy and within budget.
  • Provide special projects to individual team members to stimulate growth and assess skills.
15% Develop and Measure Local Store Marketing Tools and Best Practices
  • Track performance of new stores and relocations
  • Develop Local Store Marketing programs to share with the franchise system
  • Provide ad hoc training and support to Team USA operators who desire to grow their marketing expertise
Qualifications
  • +5 years of proven experience in marketing, building sales in a multi-unit environment; preferred in QSR and/or Franchise environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field preferred
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Strong persuasive and leadership skills
  • Excellent analytical and computer skills
  • Knowledge and experience in all aspects of marketing (media, creative, planning, analysis, print/database, social/digital)
  • Financial and analysis knowledge
  • Ability to work well independently and remotely from team leader and peers
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of time; some overnight travel may be required
