This internship is available for Summer 2024, with the opportunity for ongoing part-time work following for the right candidate. Our goal is to provide opportunities for interns to be employed in full-time positions at the completion of degree programs.

Time Investment Company is an indirect consumer finance company operating in all US states. We focus on financing the sale of water treatment, home improvement, and other products through an independent network of dealers. Approved dealers use our loan platform applications to submit consumer applications for credit, receive approval on those applications, and complete the loan process.

As a Full-Stack Software Developer Intern, you will be a key resource in the development and maintenance of custom software and integrations between home-grown applications, external Software.

As a Service-based platforms, and our business departments' workflow and processes. This position offers an opportunity to learn and contribute to systems that align with the company's technological direction and growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•Must be able to problem solve and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

•Must possess and demonstrate the company culture, values, and behaviors

•Collaborate with the development team, other departments, and customers to identify and document end-user requirements and specifications.

•Assist in designing algorithms and flowcharts to create new software and systems.

•Participate in testing and deploying software and systems.

•Help troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and improve existing software.

•Compile and assess user feedback to improve software performance.

•Learn and adhere to standardized development methodologies, such as Agile and DevOps

•Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications

•Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

•Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

•Familiarity with the .NET environment using C#, SQL, and .NET Core is a plus.

•Knowledge of Object-Relational Mapping frameworks is desirable.

•Exposure to building APIs and services using REST is beneficial.

•Understanding of relational database management systems, including SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc., is advantageous.

•Interest in developing unit tests and learning about performance testing.
