**Assistant Branch Manager**

**About the role** We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Branch Manger to join our growing Hamilton Branch on a full-time basis. The Hamilton operation operates 7 days a week and this role will involve rostered weekend work. **You will be responsible for:**

* operate and manage the booking system,

* ensure quality control is maintained consistently in line with the desired Cross Country Rentals image,

* act as customer liaison - provide face to face and phone contact to deliver exemplary service,

* plan and supervise vehicle grooming and assist when required,

* provide a safe and supportive working environment for your team while keeping expectations and standards high - ensure you get the very best out of every team member,

* meet or exceed key performance indicators,

* evaluation and reporting on department metrics to management,

* overseeing inventory needs and undertaking office management and administration, and

* promoting a Health and Safety culture.

**To be successful you should have:**

* excellence in written and oral communication,

* strong administrative management skills and organisational skills,

* professional and approachable manner,

* general knowledge of vehicle features and basic mechanical ability to remediate faults,

* proficient computer skills and a willingness to adapt to new technology, and

* a team player, and

* strong time management skills.

**About the company** The Cross Country Rentals story starts way back in 1924 when our parent company, Tranzit Group, launched its very first school bus run in the Wairarapa. Fast-forward a few years to 2010 when Tranzit purchased Masterton-based Cross Country Rentals, and now we operate a modern fleet of several hundred rental vehicles including cars, 4WD Utes, vans, mini buses, people movers, trucks and trailers, right across New Zealand. **Cross Country is committed to providing exceptional customer service with high quality vehicle, all delivered in the CCR way:**
