job summary: A Materials Coordinator is needed in the Austin, TX area for an American corporation that supplies equipment, services and software for the manufacture of semiconductor chips for electronics, flat panel displays for computers, smartphones, televisions, and solar products. This role requires a diligent and organized individual with experience in inventory and materials management, capable of performing various logistical tasks and solving common problems independently.location: Austin, Texas job type: Contract salary: $20.56 - 23.29 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Associates responsibilities: Locate, audit, and transfer kits or materials as needed.Perform satellite receiving functions.Prevent accumulation of excess or exceptional material under management direction.Monitor, update, and maintain shortage reports, including the review of work orders.Take necessary actions to rework, transfer, or scrap items as needed.Utilize developed skills to perform day-to-day activities.Recognize and resolve typical problems within the work area independently. Skills: Proficiency in performing inventory transactions in systems like Oracle and SAP.Ability to drive a van or truck for material pick-up/drop-off.strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.Attention to detail for verifying and maintaining inventory accuracy.Competence in managing nonconforming materials and preventing excess accumulation.
