Quality Control Inspector

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for maintaining a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner by getting along with customers, clients, co-workers, supervisors, managers, and all other employees.
- Must adhere to all safety rules and company policies.
- Attendance/punctuality: is consistently at work and on time.
- Selects products at specified intervals and performs dimensional measurements utilizing micrometers, calipers, RAM, optical and profilometer as defined on QCP and monitor sheet.
- Basic interpretation of QCP and engineering drawings, and interpretation of GD&T.
- Record and evaluate inspection data to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
- Complete non-conforming material report and place product on hold where necessary.
- Inform appropriate personnel of all quality problems.
- Signs off product on production floor.

Education and/or Experience:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills :
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; ANSTAT software; GD&T; SPC and Variation; Ability to learn new software as needed.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
