Cleared Linux System Administrator
Bestgate Engineering is currently seeking a Linux System Administrator to join our Cybersecurity Intelligence Team. This pivotal role supports the normalization of cybersecurity data and the automation of cyber threat intelligence. As a key member of our operations support team, you will handle the implementation of data flows, transition from legacy systems to modern platforms, and monitor these implemented data flows. This position requires an independent worker who can continuously adapt and enhance their skill set.
Required Skills:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Systems Administrator.
  • Proficient in Kubernetes-essential for this role.
  • Skilled in monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues, particularly with Elastic products such as Grafana and Kibana.
  • Familiarity with Jira for workflow management and ticketing.
  • Competent in using Confluence for documentation and sharing artifacts.
  • Capable of coordinating both planned and unplanned system outages.
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, System Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Four years of additional experience in systems administration may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree.
  • Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/Poly

  • Ability to provision virtual machine resources efficiently.
  • Experience with TPAM for account management.
