**Description**

Air Systems Inc. is a TOTAL FACILITIES SOLUTION for HVAC, Architectural Sheet Metal, Preventive Maintenance & Service, Electrical, High Purity Process Piping, Plumbing, Building Automation Systems and Energy Solutions.
**Summary:** Responsible for the purchase of HVAC and Plumbing materials, rentals and equipment for successful project outcomes. This is a non-exempt position, subject to overtime and reports to the purchasing manager. Function of the Purchasing Agent requires expeditious performance with minimal supervision.
**Responsibilities Include:**
* Knowledge of purchasing policies, processes and procedures
* Generate purchase orders and work orders
* Purchasing of materials for projects
* Locating suppliers and needed materials for HVAC and Plumbing Materials.
* Vendor Negotiation and Time Management
* Arrange for pick up and delivery of materials to project sites
* Negotiate vendor terms, pricing and delivery
* Keep tracking reports related to all purchases
* Communication with the field, and project managers on materials, rentals and equipment
**Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge Requirements:**
* BA/BS Degree
* Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP)
* Minimum 5 Years Purchasing experience
* Proficient with MS Office Suite
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Ability to prioritize work assignments
* Analytical and problem solving skills
* Strong interpersonal skills.
