Our client in Gallatin, TN is seeking a Part-Time Accounting Assistant - AR to assist their accounting team.

This is a 6+ month contract position with a hybrid schedule, and then possibly remote after training.

Responsibilities:
  • Efficient and accurate posting of all payments received to our customer records, (commercial and insurance clients) into our Great Plains system.
  • Weekly posting of credit memos.
  • Reviewing commercial clients' unapplied payments and obtaining resolution.
  • Process commercial refunds to clients if necessary.
  • Prompt posting of commercial clients' returned checks, to ensure up to date Accounts Receivable status.

Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook). Great Plains experience
  • Highly organized and proficient in multi-tasking.
  • Solid data entry skills with the ability to identify numerical errors.
  • Ability to provide thorough reports and documentation of multiple activities.
  • Must be flexible with high reliability and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced environment.
