Senior Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $85,000 to $100,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Assist in the coordination and preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation during financial audits and reviews.
Prepare departmental monthly cash spend and conduct variance analysis to identify trends.
Assist in the development of departmental budgets and forecasts, including expense tracking and cash flow analysis to support strategic planning and decision making.
Maintain fixed asset records, including capitalization, deprecation, and disposal.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
3-5 years of accounting experience preferred.
CPA Preferred
Proficient with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office (Excel)
Experience:
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Working knowledge of tax requirements and GAAP
