Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES PER AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

1. Tracks, clips and scans news articles, including Google Alerts, online reviews and digital mentions of HRRMC. Posts news articles, community events, internal communications and health observances as well as additional hospital and clinic content on employee bulletin boards, social media and on digital monitors and signage.

2. Interfaces with outside designers, printers and vendors to prepare marketing collateral and signage. Prints, folds, collates and distributes brochures, flyers, patient guidebooks and other marketing collateral or coordinates Auxiliary volunteers who assist with these tasks.

3. Coordinates distribution of marketing materials across locations and clinics.

4. Orders materials and prepares check requests, supporting materials for invoices and expense reimbursements.

5. Modifies and prints signage for hospital and clinics as needed. Updates digital signage on main campus.

6. Collects and reviews comment cards from hospital and clinics, and places into spreadsheet document for Director review. Will at times contact managers for response to comments. Similarly, monitors social media and online reviews.

7. Helps facilitate internal communications throughout HRRMC as needed. Interacts with employees from all aspects of the organization on a regular basis.

8. Assists Director with planning, organizing and providing assistance for hospital events and activities. Manages outreach and registrations, helps design marketing materials, coordinates schedule and details for events as needed.

9. Takes primary responsibility for digital marketing strategies and communications, including editing and formatting the website, digital signage, digital marketing initiatives and social media channels. Develops and maintains social media strategy, including paid when utilized. Tracks and reports on digital growth and key data points.

10. Assists with media inquiries. Participates in crisis communications and fills role of public information officer as needed. Writes and distributes press releases as needed. Checks public-facing email inbox to ensure line of communication with the community.

11. Generates ideas, writes copy and photographs hospital events and personnel for the HRRMC Intranet and other publications. Downloads, organizes, prints and archives digital photographs.

12. Presents at monthly new employee orientations as needed.

13. Synthesizes complex, sometimes-clinical information to develop creative messaging and visuals for print, digital and radio advertisements as needed.

14. Develops video marketing strategies for providers and clinics.

15. Stays current on HRRMC services. Is aware of community events and issues that relate to HRRMC.

16. Job may focus heavily on administrative tasks based on daily priorities.

Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree required. Major in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or English preferred.
  • Minimum of four years of professional communications experience. Minimum of four years of professional communications experience, or combination of communications and administrative experience equating to four years.
  • Healthcare experience a plus.

  • Current and valid Colorado driver's license and insurance I.D. card in good standing.
