They get excited about construction projects as well as completing assignments on time. An individual who will do well in this position is self oriented, organized, a great communicator, and approachable. Comfortable working within a team environment and visiting the project site.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/SKILLS Assist the Lead Cost Estimator develop cost estimatesPerform quantity takeoffs and market researchProcure quotes from on material suppliers and subsParticipate in risk mitigation meetingsParticipate in innovation vetting and implementationWork Assist the Lead Cost Estimator in development and optimization of the construction scheduleParticipate in cost negotiations and alignment with the ContractorParticipate in cost reconciliation meetings and follow up with estimate revisionsProvide constructability reviewsFollow and help /implement quality control planOther duties as assignedPERKS OF JOINING JLMWe offer a competitive compensation package as well as benefits including Health Insurance, Vision, Dental, Life, and Paid Time OffThis is a remote position.
