Job Description: Surgical Technician

Must-Haves:

  1. Graduate of a recognized program for Surgical Technology or Licensed Practical Nursing.
  2. Reside within a reasonable distance from the medical facility for on-call availability.
  3. Minimum one-year experience in a healthcare setting.
Nice-To-Haves:
  1. Previous experience as a Surgical Technologist.
Responsibilities:

  • Execute assigned scrub duties while ensuring a clean and organized environment.
  • Collaborate with the team to provide optimum patient care.
  • Perform technical and manual tasks under the direction of the Circulating RN.
  • Maintain effective communication with charge nurses.
  • Actively participate in continuing education.
  • Apply age-related factors appropriately to patients, adhering to policies and procedures.
