Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Monitor Technician for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. What You Will Do In Your Role:

* You will be knowledge of medical terminology * You will interpret cardiac rhythms * You will maintain telemetry supplies * You will maintain and make decisions to report patient condition to supervising parties * You will perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds

What qualifications you will need:

* High School Graduate or equivalent * 6 months of Monitor Tech experience in an acute care setting preferred * BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) is required * CMT/Cardiac experience preferred * Completion of Basic EKG/Arrhythmia course * Demonstrated ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias * Must pass a Basic Rhythm test, if interviewed
