Myriad is looking for a Senior Manager, Oncology Portfolio Marketing to join our Oncology Marketing team. In this role, you will lead overall strategy development for the Oncology portfolio, develop our Oncology portfolio narrative and drive our commercialization approach. You will understand the value of our full product portfolio (where we are and where we're going) and how we provide value to clinicians and patients across their entire cancer journey. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Oncology Marketing, you will lead and coach a team of product marketing professionals. This leader must enjoy engaging with complex scientific information and clinical data and be able to distill insights for commercial implications. Strong collaboration and people leadership skills are necessary for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Drive oncology product marketing vision and strategy.
  • Lead our overall landscape and competitive landscape and pipeline, build our overarching strategy and vision across functions.
  • Develop, align, and advance winning strategies for the long term for Oncology.
  • Develop and manage annual cadence of deliverables and activities including long range plans, strategy development, launch and marketing execution and budget management.
  • Drive efforts to share strategies, plans, and performance with a broad set of stakeholders to build alignment.
  • Balance internal marketing functions and leverage and manage external (agency) resources as needed.
  • Serve as mentor and leader in product marketing discipline and all supporting elements including market research, competitive analysis, positioning, messaging, launch strategies, sales enablement, and content production.
  • Support adequate processes for engaging with markets and functions across in person and virtual forums to ensure strategy development, market input to strategy and priorities, sharing best practices and efficient dissemination of insights.
  • Portfolio strategy and execution
    • Understand and evolve our portfolio approach to the evolving assets, development plans and data.
    • Plan and execute new product launches, coordinating strategy and execution across several functions to ensure commercial and enterprise readiness.
  • Build engagement and "Win as One Team"
    • Development of content or activities for workshops and meetings
    • Create a culture of openness, collaboration, focus and execution.
    • Support capability development in key areas across the team - related to engagement in clinical, business development and omnichannel and data and analytics topics.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; Marketing degree or equivalent marketing experience required.
  • 10 years professional product marketing experience
  • 5+ years in healthcare, pharma, or biosciences / biotech industry
  • 2+ years of experience focused on oncology space and marketing to oncology healthcare providers.
  • 5+ years of experience as a people / team manager
  • Experience in product marketing tactics and strategy including market research and competitor research, in addition to creating and writing clinical content.
  • Experience working closely with sales organization, developing sales collateral and marketing messaging to drive sales growth.
  • Experience driving product launches
  • Experience collaborating with upstream and downstream partners, in addition to medical affairs, payer markets, and other stakeholders to create and execute effective marketing content and strategy
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate cross-functionally.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with varying priority at one time.
  • Able to translate complex into integrated marketing strategies that resonate with key audiences.
  • 10-15% travel required
