This a hybrid position located in St. Louis, MO.

Position Overview

The Sales Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to support Willert's sales strategies and objectives. This role involves the collection, analysis, and reporting of sales-related data, providing insights that drive business decisions and improve sales performance. This position requires a deep understanding of sales dynamics, market trends, and omnichannel strategies. The Sales Analyst will be responsible for analyzing sales data across various channels, identifying trends, and providing recommendations to drive sales growth and improve performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to provide actionable insights
  • Provide analysis on sales trends, customer behavior, and market dynamics
  • Analyze competitor performance and market positioning
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate sales performance
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc sales reports for management and sales teams
  • Develop and maintain sales forecasts
  • Analyze market trends and sales patterns to predict future sales performance
  • Assist in the creation of sales targets and quotas based on data and market analysis
  • Provide data support, sales reports, and presentations for customer review
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales data to relevant stakeholders
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and market potential
  • Work closely with sales and product development teams to align strategies and objectives
  • Identify and implement improvements in data analysis processes and tools
  • Develop and refine data collection methodologies from new database platform
  • Assist in the development of automated reporting systems and tools
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales analysis, or a related role, preferably within the consumer products and manufacturing industry
  • Experience with omnichannel strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau)
  • Experience with retail link/decision support is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
