This position is responsible for establishing priorities in data collection, analysis, and trending of data for purposes of demonstrating and improving quality of care. When areas of improvement are identified, this position will be responsible for implementing the quality process in a manner consistent with "best practices" and in accordance with any National Guidelines. The Clinical Informatics Analyst will facilitate development, use, and maintenance of the MIDAS database. The Clinical Informatics Analyst will coordinate Performance Improvement and Risk Management data activities. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in a health related field; BSN preferred. Licensure/Certification: Registered Nurse with current Oklahoma licensure Experience: Two (2) years of experience in an acute care facility with a strong quality background. Working Knowledge: Excellent assessment, cognitive and critical thinking skills. Sound research, clinical and statistical analyses abilities. With low, fixed nurse-to-patient ratios, our nursing team has time to get to know their patients and their families while providing the highest quality, safe, patient-focused care.
