What you will do...:- Lead working groups to develop MILSATCOM architectures and supporting documentation
- Elicit and capture stakeholder needs in models
- Develop and extend system models using existing requirements, interface documentation, and related design and systems engineering documents
- Provide MBSE/Systems Modeling Language (SysML) expertise and related support to the entire systems engineering team
- Work collaboratively in a digital engineering environment, integrating data from across systems engineering disciplines into a cohesive system model
- Integrate models to modern requirements management, architecture, and systems engineering software
Skills you will need...:
Required Skills:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Math, Science or a technical related field
- Demonstrated ability to develop system behavior, structure, data, and requirements models employing either Sparx, Cameo, or Rhapsody applications in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of systems engineering and integration activities, with special emphasis on space architecture development and communications infrastructures
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
Preferred Skills
- Subject matter expertise in SSC program support, especially in MILSATCOM (or other space-based systems)
- INCOSE and OCSMP certifications
Required Experience:
- 4 or more years experience in a systems engineering or digital engineering discipline
- 3 or more years experience in MBSE tools (e.g. Sparx EA, Cameo, Rhapsody, Rational Software Architect)
- 1+ years experience working with DoDAF, SysML, and MBSE
Preferred Experience:
- 1+ years experience with DoD, in support of Acquisition, JCIDS, or Analysis of Alternatives processes
- Experience in Modeling, Simulation and Analysis (MS&A)
- Experience with Sparx EA
