Position Overview:

The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities. There is also an opportunity to be exposed to some finance planning and analysis when working so closely with the company's Manager.

Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:

The Staff Accountant will assist with month-end closing and year-end closing as needed. Financial statement preparation as the Staff Accountant. Review general ledger accounts and prepare and adjust journal entries. Assist with billing, invoicing, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Staff Accountant will perform account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements. Post monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals.

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

3 years of experience in accounting. Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills. The Staff Accountant must possess extremely strong mathematical and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with large data sets efficiently.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
