Become an integral part of our journey as we collaboratively Form Our Future Together, setting the stage for a new era in semiconductor excellence.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES As a process/equipment engineer, the candidate will be responsible for sustaining, improvement, and development of our backend wafer processing fab. Process and equipment responsibilities include polymer deposition, dry etching, metal deposition and etching, as well as inspection QA, etc. The candidate will also be responsible for development of specialized tooling for handling and processing of our devices. The candidate will be owner of multiple processes and tools, and responsible that they produce predictably high capacity output. The candidate will lead installation and qualification of new tools for wafer fab expansion. Candidate will define, design and execute experiments to test new processes, materials and structures.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED BS in engineering, physics or materials science, MS or PhD preferred. 5 hands-on experience in a HVM wafer fab. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Experienced in systematic problem solving and debugging of process and tool issues. Experience in statistical process control (SPC) methodologies in a manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience in automated defect inspection process and equipment's. Direct experience in RIE, sputter deposition and wet chemistry. Experience in specification of equipment, vendor evaluation, procurement recommendation and equipment qualification.The pay range for this role in Livermore, CA is between $136,200 and $178,815. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
