Oversee the accounting operations that relate to Revenue and Accounts Receivable. Ensure that the financial reports remain accurate, and are reported by the deadline. Establish internal controls and guidelines to record transactions that comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
What You Will Own
Reporting Accuracy - Ensure transactions that are posted to the financial statements are reflected accurately.
Report Timing - Ensure transactions are recorded in the appropriate month, quarter, or year according to GAAP.
Accounts Receivable - Ensure all partners and customers are paying within the time specified in their contracts.
Month End Duties - Assist Controller in making sure the Financial Statements are delivered accurately and on time.
Contract Review - Review new and existing contracts to ensure all revenue and obligations are being recorded correctly.
Cash Application - Ensure that all payments received by customers are accurately applied to their accounts.
AR Team - Assigning individual responsibilities and enforcing accountability of tasks and deadlines to direct report(s).
What You’ll Need To Be Successful
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Finance
3-5 Years Experience in tech industry
Financial Close Experience: Financial close completes all financial transactions for the month, quarter, or year to ensure financial statements accurately represent the reporting period. The financial close process also uncovers errors or discrepancies recorded in the financial statements before publication.
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP: Understand GAAP and its implications to the business.
Netsuite Oracle Experience Preferred
