Primary Responsibilities:
  • Play a key role in maintaining SQF certification for the company
  • Work closely with documentation and regulatory issues to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Quality Department and ensure that quality control procedures are followed
  • Ensure Food Safety, Quality and Process Control issues are successfully resolved including effective use of Root Cause Analyses and Corrective and Preventative Action tools
  • Develop day-to-day SOPs for Quality/Food Safety Department with Director
  • Analyze data and create reports for senior management to drive decision-making processes
  • Maintain instrumentation records and ensure preventive maintenance is performed
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Food Science, Chemistry, Biology).
  • Several years of experience in quality within the food and beverage industry
  • Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP and GMPs for food and beverage manufacturing
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • SQF Practitioner preferred
