Representatives may also make outbound calls to health insurance carriers to verify private health insurance information and update the client records in the State’s Medicaid system. Please note: Applicants must reside within no more than a 50 mile radius of San Antonio, TX. This position will start as remote, but may transition onsite in the San Antonio office. Responsibilities: Accept inbound calls from providers and client representatives Perform outbound calls to other health insurance carriers to verify private health insurance information as needed Collect policy information from callers Verify Medicaid clients’ insurance information Accurately enter insurance data into Third Party Liability (TPL) database Perform special research Perform other duties as assigned Observe professional standards of conduct, including attendance and professional behavior.
