We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for PRN coverage at Fort Myers Rehab & Nursing Center located in Fort Myers, FL Through the years, Fort Myers Rehab has continued to grow and evolve to meet community needs, and today offers a full continuum of care, from temporary respite stays to short-term rehabilitation, to long-term skilled nursing care, as well as a broad array of specialty programs and services. The Speech Language Pathologist position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team of dedicated health care professionals that pride themselves in providing quality patient care. Our Rehab Department has an excellent reputation in the community for providing rehabilitation services. Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients Provide therapy sessions to improve speech, language, and communication skills Monitor and document progress of patients throughout the treatment process Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding communication strategies and techniques Experience: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous experience working with individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders Knowledge of diagnostic procedures and assessment tools used in speech-language pathology Career Advantages: Rare in-house opportunity Practice in an environment built on integrity and progressive, ethical care Onsite supervision from an experienced SLP Competitive pay rate, and flexible schedule As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals improve their communication skills.
