We are growing and seeking to hire a Dental Patient Coordinator to help facilitate a distinctive patient experience daily. The Ideal candidate will have one or more years working in a dental or medical front office, have a strong understanding of insurance co-pays, and be comfortable checking patients in/out.At Apple Tree Dental, our Dental Patient coordinators are the first impression of the office in person and over the phone. We are looking for a polished and patient Dental Front Office Coordinator to work full-time Monday through Thursday. We offer a pleasant and energetic working environment, a competitive hourly wage, daily bonus opportunities, and a complete benefits package.As a Dental Patient Coordinator, you will report directly to our Office Manager and help with many duties related to keeping our front office running smoothly.Your duties will include but are not limited to:Help open and close the front officeCheck voicemailCheck Revenue Well for appointment requestsPrint routers for the dayGreet patients/visitors and ensure they are comfortable (provide water, etc.)Check-in all patients. Mark them ready or available and alert clinical staff of their arrivalScan in New Patient paperwork (if paper), health history, ID, and insurance informationAnswer incoming calls on the first ringConfirm all appointments 48 hours in advanceCall any unconfirmed appointments and double-book the hygiene column if an appointment is not confirmedCall all late patients when they are 5-10 mins behind and reschedule to the next available time/day, if necessaryKeep a constant eye on the schedule for falloutsCall and or send out appointment availability through Revenue when they become availableInform the Insurance Coordinator of any add-ons so they can verify the insuranceWork the Hygiene Recall List to ensure hygiene schedules stay fullConstantly check voicemail and Revenuewell throughout the daySo, why choose us:We have a beautiful office with state-of-the-art equipmentWe offer competitive hourly payYou'll get paid time offWe have holiday and vacation pay (after 6 months)We offer medical, dental, and vision benefitsWe have a matching 401KWe offer pathways for career growth and development and encourage continued learningWe have an inviting, fun, fast-paced work environment - it's never dullIf we sound like an office you could call home - apply today We look forward to meeting you.Salary Range: $18 to $22 per hour plus daily bonusesApplications will be accepted until 10/31/24RequirementsExperience in a dental front office setting, at least one or more yearsKnowledge of dental insuranceAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentOutgoing and friendly with a positive attitudeDetail-oriented, dependable, and punctualDedicated to providing superior customer serviceAbility to work in a fast-paced office settingPleasant phone demeanorDesire to perform at a high levelStrong technical abilities with patient management systems Denticon software experience is a plus Salary Description $18 to $22 per hour
