We are in search of an experienced Senior Software Architect to lead and oversee the design, development, deployment and maintenance of our flagship product, the Member Engagement Software. This pivotal role involves hands-on leadership by example, assisting and guiding the team of engineers to produce software that leads the Church communication market. The ideal candidate will bring knowledge and skills in Full Stack .NET development, Amazon Web Services, multiple database management systems including PostgreSQL, MSSQL, and Redshift, as well as exceptional problem-solving capabilities, and a proven track record in software engineering management. A Senior Software Architect at The StudioC is not just a software development role, it’s a mission to help develop the highest class of messaging software available to our customers. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Create software solutions using best in class architectural principles that meet or exceed our software standards for performance and reliability. Manage assignments of software development tasks to team members. Manage Sprint planning and Sprint review process. Assist team members, leading them by example, writing clean code, using best practices and design patterns. Write tests and ensure high quality delivery of all software products. Perform code reviews and manage the approval process for all Pull Requests. Manage release deployment of all software products. Craft detailed design proposals that align with strategic objectives. Coordinate and assist in resolving software issues from clients. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field. Experience & Values

7-10+ years work experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or Software Architect, using the Full Stack Microsoft .NET development environment. 7-10+ years of database development experience with in-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL, and Redshift. Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure (Azure or AWS, AWS preferred). Knowledge of source control and software deployment best practices (Github experience preferred). Ability to perform code reviews with understanding of design patterns that create highly scalable code. In-depth skills and experience with Visual Studio and database management tools. Managerial experience with software engineering. Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal. Ability to see big-picture designs from basic specifications. Proven ability to problem solve complex IT issues. Personal integrity in all areas of life. GENERAL INFORMATION
