We are hiring for a Senior Accountant in Bethesda, MD Description: Prepare and maintain company financial statements, forecasts, and annual budgets. Entering financial data and transactions into the ledger Reviewing financial documents for accuracy and reconciling accounts Analyzing financial data and providing financial recommendations Ensuring financial records comply with regulatory standards. Collaborating with other departments to complete accurate records and provide accounting support. Supporting the Director of Finance and other financial professionals in their duties as needed Provide support for budgeting and forecasting. Skills: Accounting General ledger Month End Journal Entry Balance Sheet GAAP Additional Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA designation preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a service-oriented industry. Proficiency in accounting software (Lawson, AS400) and advanced Excel skills. Maintaining confidentiality, communicating clearly, and collaborating with our team are important qualifications for this position. Ability to implement new processes and procedures. Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
