This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of up to 30 workers. Must maintain a safe, clean, productive working environment at all times Trains and instructs workers. Determines work sequence and equipment required to perform assigned tasks. Observes work procedures to ensure safety, and quality. Inspects equipment for wear and completed work for conformance to standards. Performs related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Responsible for safety, quality, productivity, maintenance, and general housekeeping for assigned plant
  2. Hire, train, evaluate and discharge staff as required
  3. Review production schedule and inventory to determine staffing, duty assignments and work schedules.
  4. Direct and coordinate production and prepare production reports.
  5. Initiate and coordinate inventory and cost control programs.
  6. Enforce all Company regulations and safety procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS, ABILITIES AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Associate or bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
  2. 10 years of experience in the supervision of others.
  3. Knowledge of inputs, outputs, raw materials, waste, quality control, techniques for maximizing the manufacture of concrete products.
  4. Ability to motivate, develop and direct people as they work.
  5. Excellent understanding of written and verbal instructions.
  6. Ability to use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with industry standards.
  7. Ability to inspect equipment, structures and/or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems.

1. Compensation: The salary range for this position is between $85,000 and $100,000, making it a competitive offer in the industry.

2. Bonus Structure: In addition to the base salary, there is a bonus potential of 20%, which can significantly increase the overall compensation package.

3. Vehicle Allowance: The job includes a vehicle allowance, which is an added financial benefit and convenience for the candidate.

4. Job Responsibilities:

- The role entails supervising and coordinating the activities of up to 30 workers. Its crucial to emphasize the managerial aspect, including training, instructing, and potentially hiring or discharging staff.

- The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and productive working environment at all times.

5. Operational Oversight:

- The Plant Manager will oversee the entire production schedule and inventory, manage staffing and duty assignments, and coordinate production to prepare production reports.

6. Strategic Involvement:

- The role includes initiating and coordinating inventory and cost control programs, offering a chance for strategic input into the plant's operations.

7. Safety and Quality:

- A significant part of the job is to ensure safety and quality in the plant, aligning with company regulations and standards.

8. Qualifications:

- Candidates should have an associate or bachelors degree or equivalent experience, with at least 10 years of supervisory experience.
